Dear students,

You are coming back to school for various reasons, CCAs, Camps, preparing for SYF and other competitions, consultations and re-exams. TAKE NOTE that you MUST be in your proper school attire. Proper sch attire would mean full sch uniform (properly tugged in), school-based T-shirt (Class, Level, PE and any shirt that has the DHS identity), school skirt, school pants or PE shorts, sports shoes and socks that are visible, and for girls, hair neatly tied up and for guys, sloped hair on the sides and back.

So far, a student is sent back for wearing home clothes and slippers (we have notified the teacher ic), and I have noted some boys for their hair. If you DO NOT observe, you would be send back home IMMEDIATELY to get changed, get your haircut before returning to school. Your teachers have been informed to take firm action.
Please respect what Dunman High stands for as a school and as a family.

We'll meet up at Kallang Leisure Park for lunch, erm... we'll watch a movie and then take a stroll to school. Okay? I'm not going to plan it too detailed cause I'm lazy but mainly I don't want things to be too constricted and anyway we'll be able to get things done inpromptu-ly right?
Okay yeah, and here's the people going:

There might be some people who might not be able to make it last minute, or some people who realised they can make it. Whatever the case, we've quite a handful of people so it should be okay.

Hello all of you guys! Bolong here,

I'm not sure who reads this but anyway I'm currently in the process of planning a class gathering, you guys have a few choices here, but our first option is Twilight, then if it fails, have something else.

Option 1.
What: watch Twilight, visit old school campus
Where: Kallang Leisure Park, Tanjong Rhu
When: 22nd December, Monday or... any other dates?

Option 2.
What: Potluck
Where: Botanical Gardens/Anyone willing to spare or suggest a location?
When: Suggest?

Option 3.
What: Christmas Dinner and gift exchanges (budget $10)
Where: Suggest? (Not somewhere too crowded I guess)
When: 23rd December, 24th December, 25th December, 26th December

Oh my god we have less than 15 days as a class.

Cherish everything, have fun as a class, enjoy lesson times in the LT, treat your friends well, have good chats over recesses and all. Have a blast for the remaining time with 4E, and let's all maintain really good friendship for the rest of our lives! Yes, it sounds too ambitious but let's all try our hardest. We've been the best class ever and thanks for everything!

Hey PEEPS!! :D clinton here...jus wanted to say.....GREAT JOB!!!!! :D i think everybody feels proud of 4E for making teacher's day such a success. well done everyone! here are some thanks

1) Yuting: sorry for stressing you out throughout this few days/weeks/months. i think the whole of 4E feels proud that you're our chairperson. no one could have done it better than you. THANK YOU LOTS

2) Bolong: thank you for coordinating the attire so that everyone knows what to wear. without you, teacher's day would not have been such a great success. THANK YOU!

3) Sanpeng and Wanbo: thanks to the master hairstylist (men), all the guys had an extreme hair make-over. without you two, bowen wouldnt have become a total hunk, without you, none of us would look as good as we did today. thanks alot!

4) Angell 大姐: they say experience is GOLD. thanks to BIG HOT MODEL ANGELL, all the girls look RETRO-licious....haha...i tink maureen's hairstyle was GREAT! anyway.thank you 大姐 for helping all of us make the bowtie! :D you're DEE best

5) The Entire Class: thank you for all those dress-up...if any single one of you was lazy and reluctant to dress up, it wouldnt have been that much of a success...afterall.....4E 是一家人! 一个 RETRO, 统统 RETRO! Individually, we may be a drop, but together, we are an ocean.

Even though we didn't win first prize for the dress-up.....i know that in everyone's heart, 4E is the CHAMPION already. i hope Mrs Ong feels proud of us.

However, we have one last hurdle to cross as a class..that's the END-OF-YEARS. let 4E do Mrs Ong proud one more time before we graduate from junior high. If we can imagine it, we can achieve it; if we can dream it, we CAN get it. Let us do this together!

Teachers Day Celebration 08.

Okay so we have decided on a theme/movie, and it will be eighties retro/mismatched. Please dress more boldly and according to the theme, otherwise it would be no fun anymore :( Anyway it's a once in a school-lifetime thing... so yup. Be bold and dress!

Here's for the guys:

Recommended:
1. T-shirt/ Polo T, bright/neon colours like yellow, purple, electric blue, green, red? Or patterned Ts like checkered or stripped would do fine.
2. Shorts, patterned like checkered or stripped is good as well.
3. Trainers, or your school shoes. No slippers (school rule).
4. All other accessories would be highly encouraged. Examples would be suspenders, huge glasses/shades, scarves, ties etc.

If you don't possess the recommended items, you would have to at least dress colourful, just don't come to school looking normal, it's supposed to be mismatched clothing anyway, so you could even pair Power Rangers with shorts, okay.
Oh we're getting bow-ties as a class as well, but that is IF we could get them cheap.

Could one of the girls update the blog about what the girls have standardised? Some people might have missed them out.

Here's a few major major issues.

1. Class Phototaking.

Everyone is to bring 4 items of colours red, blue, green and yellow respectively. They could be random [encouraged] or representatives of your characteristics or something. Please also be reminded to bring your 2008 class-T and tie. There will be formal shots, but we'll be getting some time for others as well.

Here's what we planned so far.
A. Colour themed shot- Red
B. Colour themed shot- Blue
C. Colour themed shot- Green
D. Colour themed shot- Yellow
E. Balloons, each pupil to be given 1 balloon to hold in hand/ throw in air.

2. Class Chalet.

The details confirmed so far are the date, 23rd-25th of September at Aloha Loyang. However, we'll need at least 1 parent/adult relative to stay overnight and make sure we are all safe. We could like, give one room to the family invited to stay overnight or something. So please, ask for consent of your parents and plead them to stay, or else the chalet might be canceled, which will set us back by at least 50 bucks.

3. Teacher's Day Celebrations.

Our entire class would have to pick a movie theme to dress up with, on that day. So please help to think, but don't think about too elaborate movies. Manga, animation or just famous series would be fine I THINK. Or we could find a movie with characters with an iconic characteristic [headbands for eg.]. And we're supposed to be done thinking with this quite long ago, and we've a deadline to submit it. So THINK.

Hey guys, (yuhding here by the way), just to inform you all of the progress of the interclass guys.

The guys, consisting of Wanbo, Yuanhao, Pingteck, Clinton, Junhao and i have qualified for the semi-finals which will be played on Monday 28/07/08 at 4pm in the gym! We will be playing against 4G/K (combined) and they are a really good team with school team players. So it would be helpful if you all make your way to the gym on next Monday to show your support for ten minutes only.

I'm really grateful for those who came down to support our first two matches. Both of the 2 matches were really really physical, especially the last game which got all the spectators in the gym hyped up. It was really an end to end affair, and we have fought through from the group stage, to the quarter finals and now we are in the semis. It is quite a feat because we simply do not have any basketballer in the team.

It was really the few times when i get to witness the class spirit, and it spurred us on really. We were really really tired at some times, but you all and Pingteck's never ending shouts of 回防, gave us an additional source of motivation.

Hopefully we'd see you guys there, and may our Captain Hook lead us all the way.
